  • May 24th: Virtual ‘Hydrogen 101’ Panel Discussion

    • The discussion focused on the development of hydrogen energy including related technology, applications, production, workforce, and history. It examined what other states are doing to compete in the hydrogen hubs, available incentives at both the state and federal levels, and how New Jersey can be competitive within the sector.

  • July 12th: Energy Markets Panel Discussion

    • The Energy Market Panel aims to demonstrate the necessity of our energy resources for our energy infrastructure. The discussion of the required enhancements needed to accommodate the increased build-out demand is significant. The adoption of renewable energy creates opportunities for economic growth, job creation, and technological innovation. Governments, businesses, and individuals are investing in renewable energy infrastructure, driving down costs and improving efficiency, making sustainable energy more economically viable. By addressing the need for nuclear and natural gas power plants and highlighting the necessary upgrades for accommodating additional loads, we can build the foundation for a robust and sustainable energy framework that meets the needs of our energy grid while prioritizing efficiency and reliability.

    • This discussion focused on the recent hydrogen hub grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy and its impact on New Jersey and the surrounding region. Topics of discussion included the an overview of the grant’s purpose, the grant’s opportunities for economic development in the region, & hydrogen production and incentives.
