Our alliance unites businesses, social justice, labor, renewable fuel producers, EV charging advocates, and more, to champion policies that incentivize greenhouse gas emission reductions across the state. With a growing coalition of 14 organizations, Clean Fuel New Jersey advocates for an inclusive “all-of-the-above” approach to decarbonizing New Jersey’s highest-emitting sector. Clean Fuel New Jersey is currently focused on A3645 and S2425 in the 2024 New Jersey legislative session, which establish a low-carbon transportation fuel standard program in the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Our coalition has spent the last year on outreach and education, having met with over 50 stakeholders on clean fuels policy. Our team comprises experts in various renewable fuels including electricity, biofuels, sustainable aviation fuel, and next generation fuels.

Most recently, United Scrap held our annual United in Making Her Story Awards Celebration to recognize the remarkable achievements of women who have made a profound impact throughout the organization. Additionally, we will be hosting our 20th annual Recycle with Ronald charity event in 2024 which benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Every year United Scrap collects hundreds of thousands of pop tabs to raise funds for RMHC, while also teaching the community about the importance of recycling. Over the years, we have also donated nearly $2 million to provide a ‘home away from home’ for families with children who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
